Civilians

Information about factions

Regardless of where you live or where you are from, you can choose which ever side you prefer. Both main factions have their own reconnaissance, mechanized, headquarters and infantry units. The reconnaissance units of the main factions are allowed to use ghillie/3D-leaf suits.

Responsibility roles

You can apply as main faction battalion commander, civilian leader and police commander roles by email. Players in responsibility roles get free tickets and 20€ of commodity money.

Uusimaa

Mechanized infantry unit created from forces in southern Finland. Uusimaa forces use red armbands and vehicle flags

Requirements

  • Camouflage: Marpat, Cadpat, ESTDCU, LATPAT-Multi, Vegetato, Multicam, MTP, Multicam Tropical, AOR 2, Digital Flora, Sposn Spectre, ATACS FG, ATACS IX, Pencott Greenzone, M90, M05, M91, M98, M62
  • Armband: red + Player-ID
  • Age limit: 17, team leaders must be 18 years old
  • Vehicles: Yes

Units

Infantry companies (+300 players)

  • Infantry companies are made from many platoons which are assigned to attack and defense missions along with additional tasks given by the battalion commander
  • It is important for team leaders to inform their platoon leader and company commander about their playing style and capabilities in advance
  • Companies are based in their factions main base
  • Game masters will support infantry units with transportation if possible

Mechanized company (+100 players)

  • The mechanized company will be assigned on offensive and support missions given by the battalion commander. The Battalion commander is given free hands on how to use their mechanized forces
  • Company is based in their factions main base
  • Paladin grenades and IFV-options will become available during the spring
  • You must have your own vehicle or a place in your teams vehicle to be qualified for this unit. You can also rent ATVs for yourself by emailing [javascript protected email address]!

Reconnaissance platoon (ca. 30 players)

  • The reconnaissance platoon will provide reconnaissance, combat and other missions given by their battalion commander
  • Unit members are expected to be more independent on the field than other players. Additional information will be given by the battalion commander
  • Reconnaissance platoon can increase their mobility by renting ATVs for the game. email: [javascript protected email address]
  • PUnit is based in their factions main base unless otherwise is decided with the battalion commander
  • Members of the unit are allowed to use ghillie-suits and wear their armbands in their left ankle when using ghillie-suits

Headquarters platoon and battalion commander

  • The headquarters platoon will maintain the main base along with other platoons and provide leadership within the battalion
  • The battalion commander is in charge of his battalion during the whole game
  • An ingame command tent, electricity, water, modern battlefield command system and number of terminals will be provided for the battalion headquarters
  • One game master will be assisting the battalion commander
  • Battalion commander is recommended to create their headquarters platoon before the event as soon as possible

Mechanized battalion created from Pirkanmaa units. Pirkanmaa forces use yellow armbands and vehicle flags.

Civilians

There are three civilian villages in Ilveskallio area. Tiirikylä in the east, Hakionkylä west of Hakionmäki and a small fishing village at Hepolampi lake.

Requirements

  • Armband: khaki/brown + Player-ID
  • Age limit: 16, local police 18 years old
  • Vehicles: None provided by game masters
  • Civilians have a major role in game story and various missions. There is also room for your own ideas.

Civilian roles

Villagers

  • Uniforms: Civilian clothing
  • Weapons: Civilians are allowed to carry weapons. Muzzle velocity and other rules are same as for everyone else. There are however some differences. To acquire a legal firearm civilian player must register their weapon at Police register. Tiirikylä Police will provide civilians with licenses. If any illegal arms are found in-game those might be confiscated by the police. There are also other in-game sanctions for carrying illegal firearm. You MUST chrone all your weapons both licensed and illegal!
  • Villagers live in two villages in the Ilveskallio area. Civilian doctor and medical station can be found in Tiirinkylä
  • Players can do whatever they want and establish any kinds of services and groups within the faction for example: criminal band, fishing business, religious groups, taxi service, bar, restaurant etc.

Police

  • After the UN withdrawal the local community decided to establish their own law enforcement force to intervene with crimes in the villages. Since establishing their own strong security force the villagers believe that the fighting factions will leave their settlements alone
  • Uniforms: blue, dark blue, black
  • Weapons: light weapons are recommended. Heavy weaponry is not used during normal patrol duties. If you wish to bring a machinegun or a sniper rifle please contact the game masters on the matter
  • If possible, we will provide limited amount of LTL(less than lethal) weapons such as training OC spray, plastic telescopic batons and plastic cable ties
  • Age limit 18 years

Merchants

  • Merchants are the backbone of society. There are numerous merchant roles available in game and they will be supported financially and logistically by game masters if needed
  • Merchants will also get more ingame cash in the beginning of the game. If you wish to be a merchant please contact game masters in advance

Local press

  • The local press is documenting the ongoing crisis and investigating events to make information available to the public.
  • As a journalist you will be in a key position regarding the spreading of information. A wordpress-based publishing channel for the local newspaper will be provided
